Edinburgh Art Fair News!

Hello again!  Welcome to Hanover Fine Arts’ latest addition to its website (www.hanoverfinearts.co.uk) :- a place where all the latest news of art fairs, future exhibitions, information on artists taking part, plus all the images with captions and details for the forthcoming shows will be posted for browsing through.

As we get closer to an exhibition, details of all participating artists, along with images of  their works will be uploaded to give you an overview of what’s in store for your viewing at this autumn’s Edinburgh Art Fair, Friday 18th – Sunday 20th November, at the Corn Exchange, 11 Newmarket Road, EH14 1RJ, www.artedinburgh.com.

When we have received all the images for the Festival exhibition, you will

Thora Clyne: 'Traghetto, Venice', Acrylic/Canvas (50 x 70cm) £480

be able to browse through what we shall have on view on our Stand No. B10 at the Art Fair this year.  The image on the right is one of five of Thora Clyne’s works in this year’s Fair, entitled ‘Traghetto, Venice’, painted in Acrylic on canvas, size: 50 x 70 cm.  The exhibition will contain original works in various media by 10 of our Gallery Artists, inc. Katherine S. Brown, Thora Clyne, David Hay, Edwin G. Lucas (1911-90), Jos Mahon, Noriko McTavish, Julia Nicholson, Sheena Phillips, May Snaddon and Simon Whitfield.

August Festival Exhibition News!

be able to browse through what we shall have on view at the Laurel Gallery for the week in August.  The image on the right is one of three of Noriko McTavish’s works in our August exhibition, entitled ‘Festival Fireworks’, painted in oils, size: 60 x 72 cm.  The exhibition will contain original works in various media by at least 15 of our Gallery Artists, inc. Yulia Allan, Katherine S. Brown, Sally J. Collins, Les Drummond (1920-97), Keith Epps, Regina Fernandes, David Hay, Edwin G. Lucas (1911-90), Shona Macdonald, Jos Mahon, Sheena Phillips, May Snaddon, Chris Taylor & Simon Whitfield.

May/June Exhibition Details Part III of III

Here is the Final Part of Three Posts giving details of our imminent exhibition at the Laurel Gallery, 41 St. Stephen Street, Edinburgh, opening on Thursday 26th May and running until Friday 3rd June 2011.  Preparations are now in hand and, although not all the images are available, we are publishing them in 3 sections, so as to give you an increasing taste of what is being displayed.  The third group of 3 artists out of a total of 9 are: Sheena Phillips, May Snaddon and James Sutherland.  Just click on their names below to read more about the artists.  If you have any queries about any of the works shown in these Posts, please leave a comment for us in the space below, or you can always e-mail us at: info@hanoverfinearts.co.uk.  Better still, … why not come down to Stockbridge, Edinburgh, and see for yourself what the actual works look like at the LAUREL GALLERY 41 ST.
